Letters of Clearance for Foreign Travel

If you have been asked to obtain a local Letter of Clearance for foreign travel, please download and complete the PDF form and bring it to the front counter of the Police Department during normal business hours. You will require your drivers license, passport, and documentation of proof of residence. Gas/electric bill, mortgage bill, or other item with your name and address displayed will suffice. There is a $15 fee for the letter.

Local Records Check

Occasionally persons require certification that their local record is "clean". This is a Local Records Check.

Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting for the public who reside or work in the city of Laguna Beach is on Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Appointments may be scheduled with the Property Officer by calling (949) 497-0396.

Citation Sign Off

Citations may be signed off Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm by coming to the front counter of the station.

Copies of Reports

Copies of a police report may be obtained Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm by coming to the front counter of the station.

Property Release

Property release days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. You must bring proper identification to claim property. Appointments can also be made with the Property Officer by calling (949) 497-0396.

Registrants

Drug offenders and sex offenders may register by appointment only by calling (949) 497-0701. Prior registration cards and Probation/Parole papers are required.
