The Design Review Board is a City Council appointed Board whose members are charged with the review of certain proposed development projects to determine whether or not the proposed development conforms with the policies of the City's General Plan, Certified Local Coastal Program, zoning standards and Design Review Criteria specified in Municipal Code Section 25.05.040(H). The Design Review Board plays a large role in protecting the village atmosphere of the City. The Design Review Board usually meets twice a month on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers at 505 Forest Avenue.
