Shopper Permit Renewal
To purchase a Shoppers Parking Permit for the new permit period, Aug. 1, 2010 through July 31, 2012, please read the general informaiton below then at the bottom of the page select the permit you would like to purchase. 

  1. A permit application with proof of residency must be submitted for every 2-year permit period.
     
  2. Acceptable proof of residency includes one of the following:         

    • Pre-printed check
    • Driver’s Lic./State ID Card    
    • Utility Bill (gas, electric, water) showing name and service address     
    • DMV Registration     
    • Rental/Lease Agreement. 
     
  3. Residents applying for a third and fourth residential shopper permit must provide a copy of each of the four vehicles’ DMV registration with the application.
     
  4. The cost of the two-year Residential Shopper Parking Permit is $80 each for the first two permits and $150 each for the third and fourth permits. The cost for the two-year School District permit is $120 for the first permit and $150 for the second permit.
      
  5. Each Laguna Beach residence is limited to four Shopper Parking Permits with proof of residence.  Residents in the Laguna Beach School District are limited to two Shopper Parking Permits.
     
  6. Vehicles with outstanding parking citations are not eligible for this program until the citations are paid in full. Please review the application for additional restrictions and conditions.
     
  7. Accepted forms of payment are checks, VISA, or MasterCard. Please do not send cash. Credit card information must be submitted with the parking permit application.
     
  8. Applications will be processed online and by mail only.  No permits will be sold at City Hall until after September 1, 2010. 
     
  9. New Parking permits will be mailed out the at the end of July 2010. 
     

NEW THIS YEAR!  Residents may purchase 2 parking permits online by using a MasterCard for Visa credit card (This service is not available for School District Shopper Permits).
